Crisis Committee
The Crisis Committee of FBC serves a meal to the immediate family of a deceased
member. The meal consists of a meat, three vegetables, two salads, two starches,
dessert, bread, sweet/unsweet tea, paper products and ice.
The meal is usually served during lunch on the day of the funeral. It is served at the
deceased member's home or if this person does not have a home, it is served at the
church.
Ten groups composed of approximately 140 women in our church volunteer to prepare
and serve this meal. |
